February 4th... 8 months to go!

What a whirl wind this last month has been in the planning department!  After people started asking how the wedding plans were going around the first of the year, I thought maybe we (I) should start planning this wedding. 

Some of the things that I have accomplished...

• Wedding dress purchased
• Blocked hotel rooms
• Searched for photographers
• Meet with a photographer
• Set up an appointment to look at bridesmaids dresses
• Talked about the Grooms dinner
• Found a Pastor
• Talked about the budget (ugh, how are we going to afford this wedding)
• Narrowed the guest list down to 377 people

Some of the things I'm hoping to accomplish in the next month

• Decide on what to do about a cake/cupcakes
• Set up a food tasting
• Register for pre-marriage classes
• Find Gus a ring
• Engagement photos
• Save the dates 
• Asked the attendents to be in our wedding
• Finish the wedding website and share it

It is starting to feel real like we are actually going to do this wedding/marriage thing.  After trying on dresses and finding out that people are starting to reserve rooms and ask questions about the wedding, WE ARE REALLY DOING THIS!
